save trees · reclaim wood
Wood that already has a story.
Tables, walls, decks and objects made from reclaimed timber — designed and hand-built in a workshop by the Bug river.
Raw Wood Studio
I don’t manufacture furniture. I reclaim wood and give it a second life.
Boards from barns, beams from demolitions, oak that spent decades in peat. Every piece comes to the workshop in Sobibór, where it is cleaned, brushed and fitted to a specific interior. No mass production and no two pieces alike.
Read my story-
01
Creativity
I go beyond convention: unusual forms, wood combined with steel, glass and resin.
-
02
Tradition
Joinery techniques that survived generations — tenons, notches, brushing by hand.
-
03
Sustainability
Reclaimed timber instead of felling. “Save trees, reclaim wood” is not a slogan — it is how I work.

Treasure Wood
That is what I call wood that finds a second life — after years lying in old barns, cellars and workshops. Before it becomes furniture it goes a long way: demolition, pulling nails, cutting off rotten ends, brushing, seasoning. Only then can you see what is really in it.

Services
What I do
-
01
Furniture
Tables, benches, desks, beds, chests and bespoke built-ins — in solid oak, ash and reclaimed timber, on steel or wooden bases.
-
02
Decorative joinery
Reclaimed-plank walls and panels, herringbone, mirrors, mantel beams, sills, bathroom tops — and decorations for weddings and celebrations.
-
03
Structural joinery
Façades, decks, pergolas, fences, staircases and built-ins — from design through construction to installation.
-
04
Upcycling
Furniture and objects from what was headed for the fire: benches, beam sofas, deckchairs, stools, lamps. Paint and patina stay where they were.
-
05
Reconstruction of timber buildings and traditional joinery
Rebuilding and preserving traditional timber structures — barns, porches, window and door joinery — using the old techniques.
-
06
Restoration and cleaning
Mechanical cleaning, sandblasting and soda blasting of old wood — beams, floors, furniture — to bring back its original look without erasing the marks of time.
Process
How I work
-
01
Conversation
You tell me about the space, the dimensions and how the piece will be used. You can bring your own wood.
-
02
Design
A sketch, dimensions, choice of wood and finish. We agree on technique and budget.
-
03
Wood
I find the right boards or beams — in my stock or at a specific demolition.
-
04
Workshop
Cleaning, brushing, gluing, oiling. I send photos as the work progresses.
-
05
Installation
Delivery and on-site installation — from a table to a façade.

Our dining table was restored: the top replaced with oak, the frame and legs refurbished. Everything done to a great standard. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend this company. Dominik does first-class work, quickly and perfectly. You can be sure nobody else will have a piece like yours.
The workmanship is flawless. You can see the company puts enormous emphasis on details and the choice of materials. The wood has a beautiful natural colour and is exceptionally durable. The rustic style is interpreted in a modern way, so the furniture works in both classic and contemporary spaces.
I recommend the services — full professionalism and advice on working with wood.
I warmly recommend Dominik’s services.
